On the front side of Eva-Dry you'll see small indicator display with specific "moisture indicator crystals" that adjust their color from blue (dry) to pink (wet) in order to show when it's time for Eva-Dry to be "recharged". Typically, the dehumidifier will absorb enough moisture to fill a glass of about eight to ten ounces. Depending on the levels of humidity this will take roughly four to eight weeks.
Once the wetness has been soaked up it's impossible to for Eva-Dry to leak of spill due to its special design. The dehumidifier uses a specially engineered gel of crystallized silica which is unscented, non-toxic and totally harmless. When the meter crystals change color to pink indicates it's time "recharge" the Eva-Dry.
Recharging is easily done by removing the dehumidifier from the place where you're using it to soak up moisture. Then you look for a wall outlet, preferably in a well ventilated are of your home, plug the Eva-Dry in and the built in heating unit will then warm up the silica crystals and allow them to expand and discharge the previously soaked up wetness as water vapor into the air.
